The school was founded by Alexey Rybak, an experienced technical leader and architect who advanced from an engineer in a garage startup to CTO of international companies. Alexey is a CTO / VP of Engineering with extensive experience in building engineering teams and creating high-load products. At Badoo/Bumble (300 million users, IPO valued at $8 billion), he started as one of the first developers and rose to CTO and head of the Moscow development office, responsible for a team of more than 300 engineers. Later, he developed and improved engineering processes in leading Russian and international companies, including "Vezet" (the second-largest taxi aggregator in Russia), Yum! Brands (part of the Fortune 1000, owner of KFC, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell brands), and Constructor Group. Alexey is a permanent member of the Program Committee of the Highload++ conference and an expert in team scaling, architecture, and engineering management. The mission of the school is to share real-world experience in creating scalable technological systems and strong engineering cultures, helping specialists grow to the level of world-class technical leaders and architects.
