Sketch is a vector graphics editor for macOS developed by the Dutch company Bohemian Coding. Used to design interfaces for mobile applications and websites. Supports the ability to create interactive prototypes. It was first released on September 7, 2010 and won an Apple Design Award in 2012. Since 2016, Sketch has switched to annual license renewal. Users receive program updates for a year from the date of purchase, after which they can continue to use the latest version published before the license expired or renew their license to continue receiving updates for another year. Unlike Adobe Photoshop, Sketch does not use its own tools to display the content it creates - these functions are assigned to the built-in tools of macOS: QuickTime, Quartz Extreme, Core Image, Core Animation, OpenGL and ColorSync. Companies such as Apple, Facebook, and Google actively use Sketch in their work and creation of products. Sketch has great integration capabilities with other software and web services InVision, Marvel, Jira, Zeplin and Avocode. The Bohemian Coding team is committed to promoting Sketch by supporting the development of one of the largest communities of graphic designers that has emerged around the product.
