This book will take you through the journey of the rapidly growing JavaScript framework called Vue.js!
A while ago, we started a new project based on Laravel and Vue.js. After carefully going through the Vue.js guide and several tutorials, we found that there was a lack of resources on Vue.js all over the web. During the development of our project, we gained a lot of experience, so we came up with the idea of writing this book to share our acquired knowledge with the world. Now that Vue.js 2 is out, we decided it was time to update our book by publishing a second version where all the examples and their relative content have been rewritten.
The book is written in an informal, intuitive and easy to read format, in which all the examples are detailed enough to provide adequate guidance for everyone. We will start from the very basics with the help of many examples, we will cover the most important features of Vue.js 2.
The best way to learn how to code is to code, so we have prepared one exercise at the end of most of the chapters so that you can test yourself and actually know if you have really mastered each chapter. We have also updated the exercises and solutions for Vue 2 and strongly recommend you to try to solve them as much as possible for a better understanding of Vue.js.
By the end of this book, you'll be able to quickly build front-end applications and improve the performance of existing projects with Vue.js 2 integration.
