Course short description

In this Advanced course you will learn how to create a simple Android application for any website yourself, without programming experience. The course contains step-by-step instructions for developing an application, implementing push notifications about new publications on the site, implementing AdMob advertising banners, and publishing the application on Google Play.

In this course you will be able to create a mobile application for a website that displays a mobile version of an Internet site with navigation through sections through the side navigation bar. After completing the course, you will know:

  • how to create a simple Android application for any website,
  • how to work with the navigation bar,
  • how to work with WebView,
  • how to implement push notifications with FCM,
  • how to embed banners and interstitials,
  • how to monetize an application with AdMob,
  • li>how to publish an Android application in the Google Play market.

After completing the course, you will learn how to create simple applications for a website with navigation in Kotlin in the Android Studio development environment. You will also be able to monetize the application through advertising banners, both standard and interstitial. This is the most popular approach to app monetization. You can publish the finished application in the market or on your website.

The application is a mobile version of the site, displayed via WebView. The application displays an indication that pages are loading. Transitions to sections of the site are implemented using the navigation panel. When new publications appear on the site, push notifications are sent to the application. Monetization of the application is implemented using two types of advertising banners: a standard banner and interstitial banners that appear periodically when navigating the navigation bar. You can learn more about the example application from this course at link .
