Course short description
There is a huge amount of information on the Internet for beginners in Java - there are books (including free ones), millions of videos, tens, maybe hundreds of thousands of articles in all languages of the world, and so on and so forth. But among all this diversity, it is very difficult to choose what:
- Still relevant - most of the information is designed for outdated versions of software and the viewer/reader is faced with a situation where he simply does not have the desired button. And what to do next?
- The information is concentrated, and not diluted with water to the point of wasting time.
- The amount of information is chosen correctly - you are not forced to learn areas of java that have been practically unknown to anyone for a hundred years are used (such as AWT/Swing) and at the same time provide everything that is needed (such as the most popular implementations of the Collection framework). And for a beginner (until he knows all this), making a decision on choosing a training course is almost impossible. Therefore, when potential students came to study with us and it turned out that they lacked knowledge, we were forced to send them to read books, watch videos that did not fully satisfy all the above criteria.
How does the training work?
- You get access to video lessons with theory and immediately apply your knowledge in practice - write code and run it.
- The code compiled (ran without errors) - congratulations! You have done everything correctly and can move on to the next task.
- You will try out all the basic constructs of the Java language and learn how to write simple applications
- Sergey Nemchinsky explains the theory and gives explanations on tasks (in video tutorials)< /li>
Who is this course for?
- For those who just realized (or have long wanted and haven’t decided) that they want to become a developer Java, but did not write code in any programming language.
- For those who find it difficult to set up an environment and get a program more complex than HelloWorld to work out in their head
Initial requirements:
- Anyone reading this can start taking the Java Start course, since there are no special requirements for students.
- Ability to use a computer.
- Ability to read English text (most of the information that you will need outside the course will be in English).
